From 7 to 8-figures with 125% revenue increase in one year, scaling spend 25x at 4x MER

Petalura is a customer favorite, Chicago-based fashion brand for women over 40, born from the same team of creators behind the National Geographic online store. Our partnership drove aggressive growth and within one year, we helped this brand get from 7 to 8 figures, more than doubling its revenue.

After two months of promising results on Meta Ads, we faced an immediate challenge: the Spring Mail Catalog couldn’t go to print, leaving Meta as the main paid channel to drive the forecasted sales for the month. We rapidly 3Xed our spend, still achieving 4.8X MER that month and proving that measurable success was possible with Facebook Ads at scale. By the end of the year, we scaled Meta spend by a whopping 25X, while consistently passing 4X MER, and reaching 60% of new customer revenue at scale.

On the Retention side, our team developed an extensive Email and SMS Flow strategy.  Leveraging bi-platform acquisition, we successfully optimized and scaled their retention channels. 300% revenue increase over 4 years, driving growth & acquisition for one of the largest headwear companies in the U.S.

When we partnered with Tenth Street Hats, the eCommerce branch of one of the largest hat manufacturers in the U.S, their online store was at its early stages, producing 6 figures. Over four years, our team has driven 300% growth with Meta Ads at scale. We launched our new funnel on National Hat Day, 3Xing single-day revenue compared to the previous year and marking the company's highest sales day.

After this initial success, we had to address a critical issue: a dangerously low website conversion rate, sitting at 0.88%. Our Rapid Graduation Testing process allowed us to nail a winning strategy that we still carry on 4 years later: a product specific funnel structured around sales-driving SKUs that we identified based on a matrix of price point, USPs, customer reviews and top performing ad variations. Redirecting prospecting traffic to specific Product Pages instead of Collection Pages led to a whooping 54% increase in conversion rate, now sitting at 1.3% or higher. 

After closing our first year with 129% YoY growth, we implemented an AI-powered bot to improve order tracking and customer engagement via Facebook Messenger. The following year, we achieved 50% YoY growth while adapting to new attribution models and establishing new tracking parameters post iOS 14. Fast forward to this day, we maintained 70% in new customer revenue at scale, driving best sellers with Product specific ads while focusing on ad creative rotation, video ads, UGCs and audience testing. The secret sauce behind our strategy for Sweetflexx was a mix of relentless creative testing, broad targeting and targeting angles. We identified different pain points, needs and desires using customer sentiment analysis. Diving into customer language on social, comments, reviews, UGC and customer service feedback, we mapped all the key elements to further optimize ad copy and video hooks.

What exact words were customers using to describe their experience? What was their motivation behind each purchase? Are they parents, pet owners, travelers, outdoor lovers? Do they spend time on their feet at work? In order to scale, we needed to explore and market to a variety of personas beyond the classic fitness enthusiast and speak to them in their own words. Nurses, moms, bio hackers, fitness trackers, skiers, dog walkers — we unlocked unlimited audience pockets to combat rising CPMs. Social proofing winning creative allowed us to extend the life and performance of top performing ads at scale. 

With three record months in Q1, a year of expansion and a smashing Q4, we helped Sweetflexx position itself and scale their operations, going from $90K to $500K in monthly sales. Our 165% increase in Facebook Ad spend drove continuous growth allowing this business to hire new team members and invest in product development.

Six months to success: increasing Klaviyo revenue by 102% YoY for a baby brand

Parker Baby, a six-figure, family-run brand in the baby products niche, partnered with us six months ago to revamp their Email Marketing strategy. After launching a full new flow setup, the main challenge they faced was a low campaign Click-Through Rate and overall engagement. Here's how we flipped the script more than doubling Klaviyo-attributed revenue Year over Year. 

Once we had a newly redesigned email campaign template with optimized elements, language and structure, we customized the Unsubscribe experience for the user. This setup, combined with A/B testing and a data-backed email calendar, has led to staggering numbers compared to the previous six months.

  • Campaign Placed Order Rate? Up by 35%.

  • Average revenue per campaign? Up by 93%.

  • Average campaign CTR went from 1.09% to 1.53%, which is a staggering 45% jump.

Each month we retained and re-engaged 30% of unsubscribing users that otherwise would have left, while Campaign Unsubscribe Rate dropped by 18% and Bounce Rate by 8%. All this with fewer campaigns to maximize deliverability and keep those emails hitting inboxes just right. 

Meanwhile, Flow metrics are soaring with 54% higher Conversion Rate, 36% higher Revenue per Recipient and 82% higher revenue from Flows; that’s YoY, not even including Q4 peak of sales, which we crushed. In November alone, our efforts led to a 142% jump in Klaviyo-attributed revenue compared to the same time last year. We set a whole new scoreboard.

From launch to $1M raised in a crowdfunding campaign with Facebook Ads

From A/B testing to launch to scaling with 4x-11x Return on Spend using Facebook Ads as the main marketing channel in place. After systematically testing multiple creative variants, we isolated an array of top performing ads at each stage of the funnel with a full propaganda effect.

Month one was a success with 4.8X returns and a flood of new potential investors to propel us into the next stage.

We continued to scale gradually into the holiday season which is a crucial time as investors unload tax-deductible funds before the end the year. At the same time, this phase came with its challenges. Q4 is the most competitive time of the year to advertise and ad costs rise up to 40%.

Additionally, in order to stay compliant with Equity Crowdfunding regulations, we were not able to incorporate any urgency and scarcity based messaging nor any specific incentive, at a time where the vast majority of direct-to-consumer marketing was blasting 30%-50% discounts. Nonetheless, our messaging powered by our scaling strategy paid off, as we generated an astonishing 740% return, with peaks of 11.3X for the whole month of November, reaching and passing the $1 Million dollar goal.

Driving awareness & sales during Derma-e's expansion to Target stores nationwide

Reinforcing brand awareness and driving DTC and in-store sales during the transition to Target® stores nationwide. Our comprehensive strategy included cross-channel campaigns that leveraged: Facebook & Instagram Ads, email acquisition and gamification, creative social content and influencer marketing activations with a large network of beauty bloggers and advocates.

After months of growth, we were tasked with a key objective: generating awareness during the delicate expansion that brought this pioneer natural skincare brand to Target stores nationwide.

As part of this effort, we triggered and leveraged a large network of beauty bloggers, influencers and advocates through Instagram and Facebook Ads. Planned collaborations included Birchbox, Ipsy, FabFitFun, The Zoe Reports; influencers Carli Bybel, @Targetdoesitagain, @missashleydiana, Alexys Gabrielle & more.

We leveraged these key partnerships on paid social with the goal to not only increase DTC sales in the short term, but also generate increased awareness to keep the brand’s placement on the shelves at Target — and we succeeded while maintaining an average of 4X Return on Spend. Plus with an acquisition strategy in place, our top performing opt-in campaign triggered over 26,000 entries in the first 24 hours and acquired a total of 48,000 email subscribers using gamification via Facebook Ads.
